Founded on December 15, 1995 as one of the first home appliances joint-ventures in China, BSH Home Appliances Co., Ltd. (BSHHA) is now a branch of BSH Home Appliances Group (BSH) in Chuzhou, Anhui Province. In July, 2000, BSH Home Appliances Group bought its partner’s stake in the joint venture, investing USD 11.75 billion to establish BSH Home Appliances Co., Ltd. – the biggest overseas investment enterprise in China’s refrigerator industry at that time. BSH made further investments in 2007 and 2009, aiming to establish the SBS refrigerator factory and Bottom-Freezer-Factory, respectively.

博西华家用电器有限公司（以下简称“博西华”）是博西家用电器集团（以下简称“博西家电”）于1995年12月在安徽滁州设立的子公司，是最早在中国建立的家电生产合资企业之一。2000年7月，博西家用电器集团收购合资方股份，并投资117.5亿美元，建成当时国内家用冰箱行业中最大的外商独资企业—博西华家用电器有限公司。公司在2007年和2009年再次追加投资，分别成立了对开门冰箱工厂和下置冷冻室冰箱工厂。 

BSHHA adopts advanced production technology and testing equipment, strictly implementing worldwide technology standards (WTS) and systematic management systems. As a result of these efforts, BSH refrigerators enjoy the highest quality standards in the market. At present, annual production capacity of refrigerators is more than 2,000,000 units, covering two-door, three-door, side-by-side and multi-door refrigerators. More than 200 variants of refrigerators are satisfying the diverse needs of consumers in Chinese and international markets.

In December 2010, BSH invested in and founded its second refrigerator factory – BSH Electrical Appliances (Anhui) Co., Ltd – in Chuzhou’s Economic Development Zone. The first phase of the project has been in operation since April 24, 2014 and it focuses on high-end refrigerator production, such as side-by-side refrigerators and multi-door refrigerators. The annual production capacity of this facility is estimated at 5 million units, making this the group's largest refrigerator production base. On November 1, 2015, BSH Electrical Appliances (Anhui) Co., announced that the facility will be merged with BSH Home Appliances Co., Ltd. (BSHHA). After the merger, BSHHA will become the only branch of BSH in Chuzhou.

2010年12月，博西家电在滁州市经济技术开发区投资建立了第二个生产基地—博西华电器（安徽）有限公司，一期工程主要生产对开门、多门高端冰箱，已于2014年4月正式投产。冰箱工厂全部建成后，将达到年产500万台冰箱的生产能力，成为集团在全球最大的制冷产品生产基地。自2015年11月1日起，博西华家用电器有限公司与博西华电器（安徽）有限公司正式合并，博西华家用电器有限公司成为集团在滁唯一子公司。 

BSH and the Chuzhou Municipal Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement in May, 2015. Under the terms of the agreement, and during the 13th five-year-plan period, BSH will build the BSH (Chuzhou) Home Appliances Manufacturing Park and invest 1.5 billion RMB in the Chuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone. With the construction of the Park, Chuzhou will become BSH Group’s world-leading production base. Under the strategic cooperation agreement, BSH Home Appliances Co., Ltd will be relocated into the Chuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, and within three and half years will become an integral part of the BSH (Chuzhou) Home Appliances Manufacturing Park. On November 5, 2015, the BSH (Chuzhou) Home Appliances Park was officially launched. On the same day, BSH broke ground on its first dishwasher factory in China, enriching its product portfolio in Chuzhou. The new facility aims to meet growing demand in the market and is scheduled to start production in the beginning of 2018, with an initial planned annual capacity of 600,000 units and room for expansion.

博西家电与滁州市人民政府于2015年5月签订战略合作协议，宣布在滁州经济开发区建立博西（滁州）家电产业园，并计划在十三五期间新增投资15亿元，将其打造成博西家电全球领先的生产基地。作为此次战略合作的一部分，博西华将在未来三年半的时间内，整体搬迁至滁州经济技术开发区，成为博西（滁州）家电产业园的重要组成部分。11月5日，博西（滁州）家电产业园正式投入使用，同时博西家电在华首家洗碗机工厂正式奠基，进一步丰富了博西在滁的产品线。该洗碗机工厂计划于2018年年初正式投产，年产量初步规划为60万台，同时具有灵活扩产的空间以满足中国和世界范围内不断增长的市场需求。 

BSH plans to increase investment in the Chuzhou Home Appliances Manufacturing Park during the 13th and 14th five-year-plan periods, enlarging its production capacities and portfolio, and making the Chuzhou Park BSH Group’s largest production base globally.

未来，博西家电计划在十三五和十四五期间，继续加大对滁州家电产业园的投资，扩大产量并拓展家电产品门类，将博西（滁州）家电产业园打造成集团全球规模最大的生产基地。 

BSHHA is committed to offering diversified talent development programs for staff in Chuzhou and throughout the world, promoting a wide range of personnel-development programs and leadership development projects. The BSH EA Vocational Education Center, established in August, 2006, applies the German Dual System to the China market, providing professional personnel training to all staff in Chuzhou. Additionally, the BSH EA Academy, established in 2004, is committed to providing a free and open platform for all staff. Courses at this academy are delivered by BSH’s internal specialists, who focus on production, technology and management. BSH has about 4000 employees in Chuzhou today, and will reach about 7,500 employees in 2020. 

自成立以来，公司就积极开展多层次的员工发展及领导力提升项目，根据员工需求，每年为员工提供丰富多样的培训内容。博西华职业技术教育中心成立于1996年8月，采用德国“双元制”职业教育模式，致力于为公司培养专业技术人才。博西华学院于2004年成立，长期以来致力于为员工提供一个开放的学习分享平台。学院所有课程均由博西华员工讲授， 每年为公司员工免费提供生产、技术、管理等专业课程培训。目前，博西家电在滁州共有4,000名员工，预计到2020年员工总数将增加至7,500人。
