UOB (China) has been named one of the top 100 employers in China at The Best Employer Awards held on January 2018. The awards are jointly organised by Zhaopin.com, a well-known recruiting portal, and the Corporate Social Responsibility and Employer Brand Communication Research Centre of Peking University.
The award recognises UOB as an employer of choice and an organisation that treats our people and our customers with care and respect.

The “Employer Excellence of China” is the prestigious event focused on the evaluation of human resource management in China today. The award is being presented to the companies in China whose human resources practices have made a significant contribution to their corporate development, and serves as models for other companies.
UOB Hong Kong was named one of the Best Companies to Work for in Asia for two consecutive years (2016 and 2017).
This award is organised by HR Asia, an authoritative publication for HR professionals in the region. Winners of the award were selected from 138 nominees among 20 industries, based on a proprietary survey that assessed the company's working environment, HR practices, employee engagement and the resulting job satisfaction.
This is a great recognition for UOB’s work on providing our employees with excellent conditions and opportunities which are backed by strong employee value proposition.
The winners of these awards were identified through initial screening comprising thousands of companies, and the selected candidates underwent data collection and detailed analysis, combined with telephone and face-to-face interviews, and human resource experts and academe’s endorsement. UOB China is one of a very few foreign banks who received all these awards.
People is the most important asset of UOB, and we can only make our customers happy by making our colleagues happy.
