International Economic and Trading Corporation, WISCO (hereinafter referred to as IETC) was established with the approval of Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of the People's Republic of China (known as Ministry of Commerce now) on December 31, 1993.

IETC is located in Qinshan District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It mainly deals with and acts as an agent in importing and exporting all kinds of commodities and technologies; undertaking Chinese-foreign joint ventures and cooperative productions among the member enterprises under WISCO Group; contracting overseas projects and the domestic projects with foreign capital in this field; dispatching contract workers for professional projects, production and technical services; dealing with foreign consultation and technical exchange services and domestic trades related with IETC.

International Economic and Trading Corporation (IETC) has quite a few overseas branches and offices in Germany, Japan, Australia and Hong Kong etc. As the largest key foreign trade enterprise, IETC won 1st in trade volume in Hubei Province over the past successive years. It has been awarded “Prominent Contribution Prize for Foreign Trade and Export”, and “Advanced Export Unit” for many times in Wuhan and Hubei Province. In 2004 and 2005, IETC had the honor to be in the list of the “China Foreign Trade Top 200”. It was awarded the prize of “China Excellent Enterprise Image Unit” in 2006, and “2007 Hubei Export Famous Brand” enterprise.

WISCO (Brazil) Trade Co. is a solely-funded company of Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corporation set up in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, with an investment of 2 million USD and registered capital of 1.5 million USD, being involved in businesses like iron ore resource development, import trade, sales of steel products, introduction of equipments and technologies, projects contract etc. from/with Brazil and Latin American countries and regions.
