Adele Bai

Vice President, Sales and Operations
EF Kids English

Adel lives by the motto "the devil is in the details", as the head of sales and operations at EF English First Kids Division. Running EF's network of kids English schools across China, Adel is a creative problem solver and thrives on working with people. Her previous 10-year work experience at an American- listed company helped her understand how to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment like EF. It also helped that her first job was an English teacher after she graduated from Xi'an Foreign Language University.

Adel has a Master of Business Administration of Maastricht School of Management (the Netherlands premier business school) which helped make her a versatile manager, as she has skills in finance, sales, marketing and HR. At EF, it's great because she gets to apply her broad skills to different areas as again, "the devil is in the details" and that's what makes working at EF so fun.

Viviane Lee

Marketing Manager
Global Product Development

After graduating from Sweden 's top university, Stockholm School of Economics, Viviane set her sights on working for EF- one of Europe's most famous companies and certainly one of Sweden 's. She knew EF was a global company that was expanding rapidly in Asia.

Innovation isn't just a buzz-word at EF. Viviane has seen first-hand how innovation is at the core of EF's language training business. Vivian's first job at EF took her from Sweden to Hong Kong, where her job was to develop cutting-edge educational content for iPod videos. Nearly one million of these video pod casts lessons have been downloaded to date, and she take great pride that her first project has been so successful. Subsequently, Viviane moved to  Shanghai to help lead marketing campaigns globally for EF's kids English division. It's exciting to live in the world's fastest-growing economy and to be at the heart of China.

Besides working on exciting projects in new places, it has been enormously rewarding to meet and work with the people at EF. The EF culture is truly unique. There is a shared passion for exploring new things and creating truly innovative products. Viviane has particularly liked the fact that you take on a lot of responsibility and that it is very much up to you to make a difference. So far her time at EF in Hong Kong and Shanghai has been nothing but exciting and rewarding!

Jane Jiang

China Marketing Director
EF Language Travel

With a degree from Fudan University, Jane began her career in Advertising with stints at a local firm and at the legendary Ogilvy& Mather. With OM for four years, Jane worked with clients like Coca-Cola, Unilever, Kodak, Motorola, Hershey's Chocolate, SIEMENS, KFC and TCL- her first dream came true. Jane rapidly moved through the ranks at O& M Account Executive to Associate Account Director within three years and won several worldwide ad awards with creative teams. She enjoys the beauty of Advertising, which is not only creativity, but also insights, persuasion, and mindset changes.

Jane left the exciting world of advertising to pursue her MBA at CKGSB (Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business) and joined Coca-Cola national brand team afterwards. To let the brand have a 360 degree integrated and effective marketing presence, she invented new products with R&D team, created marketing campaigns with Agencies, jumped into supply chain discussions with factories, analyzed value chains with Finance team and visited shop owners all over China.

Change is in Jane's lifeblood. When she first heard about EF, she was immediately interested in its mission: to help break down cultural, linguistic and geographic barriers. Jane joined EF's overseas study division called Language Travel. As the marketing maven, she believes Language Travel is an incredible rewarding program for our students that combines Life Experience, Education, Exploration, Entertainment, and of course, English!  More importantly, she is very proud of our courses and fully believes that Language Travel is the best way to broaden teenagers' minds and enrich their life. Her life with EF remains very exciting and rewarding.

An added attraction to working at EF is the amazing travel. Traveling is not only part of her job but also her hobby. Jane just returned from Tibet where she still carries with her the incredible thrill of seeing Mount Everest. She is also quite into jogging and golfing, which let her feel that she is always on the way, as a traveler of time and life.
